## Description

Job Summary

The Construction Manager – Solar PV is responsible for leading all on-site construction activities for utility-scale Solar Photovoltaic (PV) power plants from ground-breaking through mechanical completion and commissioning. This role ensures that structural racking, tracker systems, PV modules, DC/AC cabling, central/string inverters, and substation infrastructure are executed on time, within budget, and in strict compliance with engineering drawings, safety standards, and local utility regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Direct all daily on-site construction activities, including civil works (grading, access roads, piling), mechanical assembly (trackers, structures, module mounting), and electrical works (DC combiners, AC collection systems, inverter stations).
- Manage on-site infrastructure layout, including material staging areas, temporary facilities, and logistics for millions of fragile components (modules, tracking units).
- Resolve technical field issues, requests for information (RFIs), and design discrepancies promptly to eliminate site delays.
- Oversee pile load testing (tension, compression, lateral) and torque validation programs for structural tracker mechanisms.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress reports outlining actual vs. planned curves (S-curves), workforce histograms, and look-ahead plans.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. A construction management certification (e.g., PMP, CCM) is highly desirable.
- 12 years of direct experience in managing utility-scale solar PV developments.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Technology (BTech)

Experience: 10-14 years

## Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. A construction management certification (e.g., PMP, CCM) is highly desirable. 12 years of direct experience in managing utility-scale solar PV developments.
