## Description

Job Summary

The Electrical Engineer – MV Cabling is responsible for the end-to-end design, sizing, installation supervision, and testing of Medium Voltage (1 kV to 36 kV) cable networks. This role ensures that power distribution systems for mega-infrastructure projects, utilities, data centers, and renewable energy plants are executed safely, optimized for thermal performance, and compliant with international standards and local utility regulations (e.g., DEWA, SEWA, ADDC).

Key Responsibilities
- Execute cable pulling tension and Sidewall Bearing Pressure (SWBP) physics calculations using specialized software to prevent installation damage.
- Establish cable routing layouts, trench profiles, underground duct banks, and cable tray configurations, ensuring appropriate thermal separation and derating factors
- Provide expert engineering oversight during site excavation, sand bedding, cable pulling (winch/roller layouts), and backfilling.
- Inspect and approve critical field activities: MV terminations and underground straight joints utilizing heat-shrink, cold-shrink, or GIS separable connectors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or equivalent.Experience:
- 8-12 years of direct experience in high-voltage/medium-voltage power distribution networks, specifically focused on underground cabling infrastructure.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Technology (BTech)

Experience: 8-10 years

## Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or equivalent (including BTech). 8-12 years of direct experience in high-voltage/medium-voltage power distribution networks, specifically focused on underground cabling infrastructure.
