## Description

Job Purpose
Responsible for leading the construction and execution of HV/EHV substation projects in compliance with SEC standards and requirements, approved drawings, project specifications, HSE standards and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical construction activities for HV/EHV substations.
- Manage installation of transformers, GIS/AIS, switchgear, circuit breakers, CT/PT, protection & control, SCADA, AC/DC systems and earthing.
- Plan and monitor construction activities, schedules, manpower, materials and resources.
- Ensure all works comply with SEC standards, approved drawings, specifications and applicable IEC standards.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, T&C and subcontractor teams.
- Review method statements, ITPs, shop drawings and technical submissions.
- Monitor project progress, identify delays and implement recovery actions.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, energization and project handover.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure productivity and resource availability.
- Coordinate directly with SEC/client representatives and consultants for approvals, inspections and technical matters.
- Monitor quality, NCRs and punch points and ensure timely closure.
- Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to project management.
- Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety, PTW and HSE requirements.
