## Description

Purpose of the Role
To inspect and ensure that piping fabrication, welding, repairs, and tie?in activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and project quality requirements for offshore installations.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Quality Control
- Perform inspection of piping root pass, tie?in welds, repairs, and fabrication activities at the yard.
- Verify compliance with approved drawings (IFD/IFR/ISO), WPS, ITP, QCP, and project specifications.
- Witness and monitor fit?up, alignment, joint preparation, welding parameters, and consumable control.
- Ensure RTR welds are correctly identified, recorded, and traceable.
Welding & NDT Coordination
- Check welder qualifications (WPQ) and ensure validity for applicable weld processes.
- Ensure welding is carried out as per approved WPS/PQR.
- Coordinate and witness NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT) for RTR welds.
- Review and accept NDT reports and ensure proper closure of NCRs.

Qualifications: Diploma Mechanical Engineering (DME)

Experience: 5-20 years

## Requirements

Diploma Mechanical Engineering (DME); 5-20 years of experience in piping inspection and related oil and gas / infrastructure environments.
