Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi is looking for an efficient, passionate, and team-oriented Food & Beverage Attendant to join our dynamic team! Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi, the first Holiday Inn property in Abu Dhabi, welcomes guests with 203 modern and stylish rooms, complemented by a diverse selection of dining, entertainment, and meeting facilities. Our hotel offers a variety of unique food and beverage experiences, from international dining at Silk Route Café to vibrant evenings at Thirty 1st Bar & Lounge, featuring stunning views of the Abu Dhabi skyline. Guests can also enjoy an authentic Arabic social experience at Hubbly Bubbly, our shisha café, or indulge in the casual dining experience at Stock Burger Co., offering premium burgers, craft brews, and a relaxed atmosphere.

What's the job?

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will create memorable dining experiences by delivering warm, friendly, and efficient service across our Food & Beverage outlets. You will ensure every guest receives exceptional service in line with IHG brand standards while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence. You will also contribute to achieving departmental goals through teamwork, product knowledge, and effective upselling.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

The duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Deliver warm, friendly, and personalized service in line with Holiday Inn and IHG brand standards.

•
Welcome guests, take food and beverage orders accurately, and ensure timely and efficient service.

•
Demonstrate good knowledge of menu items, beverages, and promotions to confidently assist guests and maximize upselling opportunities.

•
Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and handle guest feedback professionally to ensure a memorable dining experience.

•
Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and readiness of the restaurant, bar, and service areas throughout the shift.

•
Comply with all food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and occupational health and safety standards.

•
Ensure the proper handling, storage, and care of food, beverages, equipment, and hotel assets.

•
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents promptly.

•
Support sustainability initiatives by minimizing waste and using hotel resources responsibly.

What We Need From You

The ideal candidate must meet the legal requirements to work in the UAE. The candidate should possess the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role within an international hotel environment, including:

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2-4 years restaurant experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.

• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local/ government authorities.

• Excellent knowledge of ala carte menus, wine

High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality diploma/degree preferred). Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local authorities.
