About the Job An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resident Engineer to join Jumeirah Jabal Omar Makkah. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: • Supervise and manage the daily activities of the Engineering Department supervisors and subordinates. • Ensure that the property and assets are maintained in the highest order through the effective management of the Jumeirah Engineering Management System. • Monitor completed repair and maintenance works to ensure that established standards have been met. • Assist in the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the JEMS (Jumeirah Engineering Management System), including the Fire, Life and Safety Matrix, PPM, and Work Order Systems. • Conduct regular inspections of the property and engineering systems to identify maintenance requirements and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken. • Coordinate with relevant hotel departments to ensure engineering requests and operational requirements are addressed in a timely and effective manner. • Monitor the performance of contractors, suppliers, and external service providers to ensure compliance with required standards. • Communicate engineering and project updates to internal departments and external entities in a professional and timely manner. • Ensure compliance with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
