## Description

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging is seeking a dependable and hands-on Facility Technician to join the Facility & Administration Department. Reporting to the Facility Supervisor, this role is responsible for supporting the maintenance and operation of company facilities through daily maintenance activities, building system monitoring, maintenance request follow-up, and contractor coordination, ensuring all facility services are completed safely, on time, and in line with company requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out and follow up on daily facility maintenance activities
- Monitor building systems and report any faults or abnormal conditions
- Follow up on maintenance requests and ensure timely closure
- Coordinate with the maintenance contractor for corrective and preventive maintenance works
- Monitor the condition of background services, sewage systems, drainage, and related facility infrastructure
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, utilities, and service areas
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards
- Report on maintenance issues, service delays, and contractor performance to management
- Keep maintenance records, inspection reports, and service follow-up documentation updated
- Support emergency maintenance requirements whenever necessary
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding maintenance needs and site issues
- Ensure good housekeeping in maintenance work areas upon completion of all jobs
- Follow up directly with the maintenance contractor on daily maintenance activities
- Inspect maintenance work and report on incomplete or poor-quality jobs
- Prioritise routine maintenance requests based on operational need
- Escalate major maintenance issues and service interruptions to management
- Request corrective action from the contractor when work quality does not meet acceptable standards
- Ensure maintenance requests are tracked and completed on time
- Maintain facility services in safe and good working condition
- Monitor contractor performance and service quality
- Ensure proper follow-up of sewage, drainage, and facility-related systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Comply with company policies, safety requirements, and EHSS standards.

Requirements:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or Diploma in a relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance or a similar role
- Good knowledge of building maintenance systems, sewage, drainage, and general facility services
- Experience in following up on maintenance requests and overseeing contractor work.
Technical Competencies
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to prepare simple reports and maintain accurate records
- Familiarity with EHSS standards and safe work practices.
Behavioral Competencies
- Good communication skills in English and Arabic
- Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergencies.
